Janina Kugel is a German manger who currently serves as non executive board member of Konecranes. She is also a senior advisor for BCG and EQT Group and member of the supervisory board of Pensions-Sicherungs-Verein, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Kugel started her career as a management consultant at Accenture, then went on to work for German industrial automation company Siemens for many years, becoming a member of the managing board and chief human resources officer.

Born in 1970 in Stuttgart Germany, Janina studied Economics at the University of Mainz, Germany and at Università degli Studi di Verona. She is married with children and she is also actively engaged in major events such as the World Economic Forum. Having herself experienced issues related to gender and skin color in her career, Janina Kugel now actively drives such topics including female empowerment and diversity.
